Paleion is provided by Paleion Sàrl-S (in formation), Luxembourg. Contact: contact@paleion.com

Permitted use

Paleion may be used for personal, academic, and professional purposes. You agree not to use Paleion for any unlawful purpose or to infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

Acceptable use

• You may only upload manuscript images that you have the right to access and process.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Paleion API.
• You must not use Paleion to process content that violates applicable laws.

Availability

Paleion is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service is currently in development (waitlist phase).

Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your transcriptions. Paleion claims no rights over the content you transcribe. The source manuscripts remain subject to their respective copyright and access terms.

Limitation of liability

Paleion is not responsible for the accuracy of transcriptions. Transcriptions are not certified scholarly editions. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 preceding months.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg City.
